Dear Reader,
Years ago, when I came across Ten Prayers God Always Says Yes To: Divine Answers to Life’s Most Difficult Problems by Anthony DeStefano, I assumed it was just another gimmicky collection of halfway helpful ideas. Instead, I found words of encouragement, faith, and hope—all based on what the Bible says about prayer.
The book doesn’t necessarily need to be read from cover to cover. I recommend reading the Introduction, then skipping around to the chapters you’re most interested in.
Here are a few words from the author in the Introduction:
I know how hard it is for so many in our jaded, cynical culture to approach a book like this without rolling their eyes. But I assure you, this is not a joke or a gimmick. Reader, this Easter week I want to encourage you to adopt one of these prayers for your own. Let’s keep this book handy for the times we’re struggling to know how to pray or what to pray for.
