You won’t find Wren Island on any world map, but it does exist. We find it whenever we imagine what could be. Whenever we reach for courage, anticipate joy, trust in love, hope for something better.

But thanks to the creative efforts of Tessa Burns, we do have a map of Wren Island! On it, you’ll find Allison’s English Tudor style house and Virgil’s grocery market. The landing where Ralph runs Lucy Jo up the beach. Allison’s dock and boathouse. Orcas! And so much more.

Thoughts from author and artist Tessa Burns: “I believe each of us is given gifts in order to give them away. My hope is that as I venture to scatter whatever seeds I find in my hand, someone, somewhere might benefit from, be encouraged by, and have a brighter day because of those seeds. Goals in life include loving God, loving people, having eyes that find beauty in everything, creating whatever is given to me to create, and giving it away as best as I can.”

Thank you, Tessa, for scattering seeds of beauty and encouragement in the direction of Wren Island!
