On Read with Laura Joy, we read stories one portion at a time. We also spend a few moments appreciating the story behind the story.
For instance, I share how readers have influenced the story. I also share bits about where my inspiration comes from, peeks at my writing process, ways the characters in the story inspire me (or frustrate me), and much more!
Each episode is short enough to easily add in to your routine. And just long enough to enjoy with a cup of tea. Most episodes also include a few moments of reflection music.
Readers often ask me if my stories are available in audio form, and this podcast is my invitation to read with me in a new way. Read with me while you garden, fix breakfast, walk the dog, or take a road trip. Read with me while you’re caretaking for someone you love.
